on my wife's C4 II two new summer tires were fitted and, as the original tire pressure sensors (TMPS) were already 9 years old, I bought two TMPS from Bosch (that are listed to be compatible): F 026 C00 469. Now the car complaints, the "communication with the two wheels is faulty". With DiagBox I found out I can change the ID of the sensors. But I do not have the new ones, they are written on the sensor itself
So the first question is: Does the universal Bosch sensor need to be "programmed" so that it "speaks Citroenish"? What affordable DIY device is needed for that?
With the use of DiagBox, the car itself can communicate with the TMPS and read the ID. For that purpose, the sensor needs to be "triggered" first and there are three possible tools for that purpose listed in DiagBox. Is there any aliexpress trigger tool that would do the same?
Any other tipps, how to progress?
Thanks a lot!
