I am experiencing following problem with my car.
While driving around 30-40mph car lost power. It would accelerate, but very slowly.
After couple minutes driving (no more than 5min) I parked up and switched engine off.
When attempted to start after about 5 min engine cranked couple times but would not fire up. Tried couple more times, but battery is not great so had no power to crank anymore,
Strange for me was when ignition switched on there was constant quiet beeeeeee noise from engine. I am sure normally it go quiet after couple secs.
AA guy scanned and said there was crankshaft sensor position A & B errors. And would not start.
At home put newish battery in and got mates autel scanner plugged in.
That what it showed. I cant add videos from iphone for some reason.
Hopefully someone can make some sense of it and suggest what is wrong.
Thanks in advance

Does cam / crank synchronisation change to yes when you crank it?

I have noticed that too and I dont think it changes.
Could that mean cambelt jumped or faulty sensor?
It reads engine speed when cranking on one of the photos chart in blue

That's my guess unfortunately.... It's easy to take the top cover off and have a look at the belt.

They like to strip the teeth, may need to look right down at the crank pulley, or get someone to crank it with the cover off to check it's all going round.

Would anyone know what voltage should i measure on crankshaft sensor plug when sensor disconnected and connected + when metal close to sensor?
Same for camshaft?
Thanks
