Hi guys. I'm new here, please let me know if I'm violating any rules.
I'm an amateur home mechanic and enjoy doing work on my C3 1.6 hdi, 2015
I thought about cleaning the FAP/DPF with a spray, but on my car the filter and catalyst is one unit.
Can I still use the spray clean?
Can I use the spray where the top EGT sensor goes in? (Shown on picture)
Cheers

Re: FAP/DPF cleaning
Welcome!
You can put cleaner in there if you want, but there's really no need, if everything is working the DPF will look after itself fine for over 100,000 miles.

Re: FAP/DPF cleaning
Cheers man.
It's just over 100k miles now, thought I'd give it a little clean before it (may) clogs up completely.
