2011. Citroen. C3. Picasso. VTR. Plus HDi. 1.6. Diesel. 57k
The pads which were located around the bonnet hinge area, on both sides of the car, which appeared to be made of a sponge like material, have both broken up and dropped away.
It would look like these pads were designed to stop engine fumes from entering the cabin of the car, only a guess I must say.
They would not be made of sponge that absorbed water but a non absorbant material.
Can anyone throw light on these pads please?
Searching on the internet I have located the part numbers thank you all, for anyone interested, the part numbers are
Engine Bonnet Seal Left Side : 7908V4 and Right Side is 7908V3.
Thank you.
Robert
