I've replaced the engine mounts (all of them) and I still feel jerking, especially in third and fourth gear... everything points to a broken engine mount, but the lower one was the first one replaced (febi). While it's true, it's less noticeable now, it's still there, and I was wondering if it could be something else, or maybe it's normal.
The car has 118,000 km, and so far, the last thing I can think of is a leak in the exhaust before the muffler which is driving me crazy (gargles) and will be repaired this Thursday. I'm afraid/scared the throttle body could be the culprit ... but at this point I just ran out of ideas
Cheers!
Okay, I've replaced the mid-engine mount with a yellow Powerflex, but I'm still experiencing issues.
I can only imagine whether the exhaust or the throttle body has some influence on this. I'm waiting for the exhaust to arrive home within the week. Hopefully, I'll have it installed and post the results.
It's worth noting that there are no error codes.
