Sphere Removal tool for Pancake Spheres

I need a good Sphere removal tool for Pancake spheres .
Would some kind soul be willing to sell one to me ?

Hi, is it the grey colour spheres you mean and not the green ones? They're a larger diameter but a strong chain wrench and a long breaker bar eventually works. If it's on a C5x7 or possibly C6, they can be stuck due to corrosion. I had to remove the full rear strut and tackle the sphere removal with it clamped to a bench vise. Chain wrench with double thick chain and a 5 foot breaker bar and a metal tube eventually cracked it off mind over matter... I never had those problems with green spheres.

Hey, honestly I think it's something to do with corrosion that seems so much worse on C5 and C6 cars. I've found so much galvanic corrosion of alloy parts with steel cast parts attached. I think it's especially bad here in the UK where salt is spread on roads in winter conditions.

Possibly also the bigger diameter spheres make it less favourable to grip with a chain wrench. Perhaps you get a better moment with the smaller old green LHM spheres.

I thought there was only a special sphere removal tool for the old sphere type anyway? Anyone know if there was ever a larger sphere removal tool available?

He is looking for a tool to remove the grey Pancake type (eg, C5/C6's)....& yes, there were types on ebay etc for these

FYI, there have been 3 types....DS "Split" type, the CX/Xantia etc "Green Ball" and the C5/C6 "pancake" types
