Is it true that to replace the front parking lights on my 2005 series 2 C5 hatch, I have to lower the front bumper? I did one by removing the battery but it was areal fiddle, and the globe failed after a few weeks. Any suggestions for a more reliable globe?

Hi, I did replace both left and right parking lights with led lamps (with canbus). Is working perfect and the light is strong and stable. Did not remove anything else than the battery. Used a self-locking surgical forceps. This was on a 2005 Serie II C5 with 2.0 16V engine.
