C1 central locking issue

My fob does not lock or unlock the drivers door, passenger side is fine.
But when I use the key in the drivers door this unlocks the passenger side no problem.
Am I looking a a wiring fault or does the fact that the key works the central locking ok point to something else?

I'd say check the wiring in in the trunking between the drivers door & body, this is a common place for wire to break as they are being flexed all the time.
