Hi Everyone..
I have two problems with my c4 picasso e-hdi one which I think could be a quick fix and the other not that easy
the Quick one is the Stop/start which isn't working anymore the car has around 77k miles and after reading a posts on the forum
it leads me to think a new Bat will sort the problem out but having Diagnostic done on the car would be a good idea (if only it shows me other
problems that maybe hiding in the background)
Now the big one - having problems with the semi-auto gearbox, the car is slow from starting from say the lights/roundabout then it kicks in as normal
but I have notice that you could be driving at 40 (can be any speed but never on the mortorway thank god!) and it will try to change gear and gives
you a jolt but then it will drives as normal. So can a diagnostic show up any errors on this problem?
thanks for your help.
Regards
Martin

Re: Diagnostic needed
You may have the additional issues associated with Stop Start - specifically the separate energy accumulator system hidden behind the left wheel arch - that directly affects the Stop Start. This and the gearbox system needs proper diagnostics to determine the issues.
You may need a new clutch - or the auto adjustment may be playing up - hard to say on these are they're complicated systems, hence a diagnostic.

Have a look at our list of members who have offered Lexia / Peugeot Planet 2000 / Diagbox Diagnostics help if you haven't already seen it - link below:
At the end of the list is a link to a Google Map, showing the geographic locations of members and details. Just use the Private Message or Email links on the member's profile to contact anyone suitable.

Bear in mind, although we update the list as often as we can, not all members are active on the Forum all the time, so it may take a while for a reply.
Be aware that some won't touch these piloted manual systems because of their complexity - so I do recommend a dealership in both cases, especially as the Stop Start system on this vehicle is likely to have the separate system that needs specialist intervention if it's faulty given the need to correctly discharge the capacitor safely.
