Hello everyone.
I have a Cellink Neo 8+S powerbank and I want to use that stuff for powering my Vantrue N5 dashcam, just to protect my main battery while monitoring car in parking mode.
I did connection to F9 fuse, which is 30A but there is a problem. I have a constant power from this fuse and I would like that F9 to be powered off just after I turn off the engine, because I want to charge a powerbank only when the engine is running.
Powerbank is set to charge with 9A but instruction says it can suck 13A in peak. I believe it can suck eaven more, because it will power a dashcam (passthrough) which will take some 2-3 amps too. So I need 20 amps to be safe and that's why I choosed that F9 fuse.
Is there any possibility to configure BSI so it can power off F9 fuse 10 seconds after I turn the engine off?
Or maybe there is some hidden option in my car or some other fuse in a cockpit which will give power only when the engine is running?
EDIT: I did a test a few hours ago. Powerbank was connected to F9 fuse, I was logged in to the powerbanks Android app and I was able to see input and output voltage. My car was remotely closed.
The result was that after 50 minutes my powerbank still shows about 12.4volts in input. Thre result is that my BSI module does not cuit off power after "30mins from instruction" time...
Is something wrong with my BSI module? Maybe there is some broken relay between BSI and fuse box?
Maybe I should use some relay which is designed specifically for fuses? I have not idea what kind of relay it cold be and if I should solder it properly.
I was soldering wires in drones. I built hexacopter with powerfulll electric engines and I learnt from masters how to solder high amperage wires properly. Maybe I should use a relay?
