Hi! I've seen this topic on different places but would love some clarification on this one again because I don't think I've seen exactly my upcoming scenario.
I'm about to restore my mk2 interior because it's in really bad shape. So I have had a look out for a while for some new seats and doorpanels etc. Today I found a guy parting out his mk1 and it has electric cloth seats in really good condition. My mk2 has manual seats.
As far as I have been able to understand my car has the loom and connectors tucked away under the floor carpet and I need a new maxi fuse to get the power going to the seats. But one thing I've seen mixed answers about is whether the mk1 seats will plug in to my mk2 harness.
Can someone comment on this? And if there is a difference, I can take the connectors with me from the donor car but then I will need a wiring diagram to be able to figure out how to get them working.
