citroen c3 - 2005 - trip computer temperature display error

My 2005 model car's trip computer is constantly giving incorrect measurements these days. I had reset it by removing the battery terminal once and it was fixed. However, it started showing incorrect readings again in a short time. What should I check step by step? Thank you.

That is the outside temperature. The sensor will be the small lump at the bottom of one of the door mirror housings and most likely it needs replacing or its wiring is faulty.

Hello. I checked the part you mentioned. But it is only under one mirror. This part is not present in 2 mirrors. Is that correct?
