So, I noticed that my coolant level in my 2015 C1 is just at the min line so, I went into Halfords today to buy some but I'm really confused about what I need
The Halfords website tells me I need G30 coolant but I'm not sure I trust their website.
Is it G30 that a Citroen C1 puretech 1.2 needs? I'm going on a long drive in the next few days so don't want to leave it on min.

IMHO "anti freeze" is a total rip-off! But anyway...
Citroen no longer recommend Glysantin. HOWEVER Glysantin (made by BASF) recommends G30 for all Citroen cars. Citroen recommends their own "stuff". Marc might be able to tell you what that might be.
BUT the C1 is basically a Toyota product, so you could look up what Toyota says? Does it have Toyota antifreeze or Citroen antifreeze in it? I don't know.
You shouldn't mix different brands and types of antifreeze, but your car wont explode, your engine won't melt and the world won't come to an end if you do!!!!! Don't listen to the internet!
If you live in a place where the outside temperature DOES NOT get below freezing you DO NOT need "anti freeze" (ethylene Glycol or polyethylene Glycol) in your coolant!!!!! You can buy just corrosion inhibitors for a fraction of the price!
If your car is going to be exposed to freezing conditions, your antifreeze MUST contain MORE than 1/3 or 300g per Litre of ethylene Glycol. If you buy "premixed" read the label!!! Most premixed antifreeze DO NOT contain enough ethylene Glycol!
If all this is too confusing, for the tiny amount that you need to "top up" the antifreeze in your car, just use a bit of distilled water (NOT TAP WATER). Buy distilled water from the supermarket, DON'T buy it from an auto store!!! It's about 3 times the price for the same thing!

In our UK service schedules brake fluid replacement is every 2 years, anti freeze depends on the car but with long life ones it can be many years. You could check if anti freeze is too dilute by putting a bit in a freezer - if it freezes then it is too weak but this will not tell you if the corrosion inhibitors are any good.

.... not on these...
They use long life coolant in the vehicle and the PH level only needs checking every 80k miles or 4 years, then at every 16k miles and replaced if necessary.

That is what happened with our 1.5 hdi 308. At the 4 year service they just replaced the coolant but was on about 8k miles so if the pH was checked it might have been ok for longer.
