electronic box keeps going from Auto to neutral to manual

Hi can anyone shed light on this problem.
I have a 2014 grand Picasso with the electronic gearbox. when i select auto and start driving the display flicks from auto to manual and sometimes neutral.
I cant drive once neutral is engaged, so i turn the engine of and sometimes i get a little further down the road until it happens again. I've replaced the selector lever thinking it was the problem but it wasn't.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

You'll need to to get it on a diagnostic computer to see what the fault is - but even this can be misleading, as it's not always obvious. Has it had a new clutch yet? A lot of problems can come from the clutch being worn and upsetting the gearbox logic - and a 14 plate will probably be nearing 100k, and therefore clutch time....

not sure about the clutch, ive only had the car 7 months. i will get it to a garage and plug it in.
