c3 steering wheel upgrade

Hello to all members !
i'm in a dead end...have purchased a c3 2018 bluehdi.It was a rental car very basic edition.So the steering wheel had no mounted radio controls...

The radio system is without wide screen it the simple one.But i have noticed other versions with the same radio system and they have steering wheel controls

So i found a spare part steering wheel with controls

I have installed the new steering wheel but the radio controls are not functional.
i wonder if someone could enlight me where is the problem. It has to do with the configuration BSI ?Is there any cable line missing from the steering wheel angle sensor to the radio?How can i find a wiring diagram for this?
Please any help is appreciated.

You probably don't have the requisite Head Unit or required wiring - so that's a non-starter I suspect - probably a very basic model as a rental car.

From the very basic edition till the next one YOU or FEEL etc i dont think they install different hardware.. assuming switch module under steering wheel (cv00) and audio unit is the same as the next editions is there any chance the BSI doesn't know that now controls excist? probably change configuration BSI audio tab ?

That’s what 8m referring to, - the comms unit and the head unit.
