I have this fault with the fuel cap sensor, or at least I thought it was, I replaced the aftermarket cap with an original, but issue remains, so replaced the sensor, issue remains.
If I disconnect the cap sensor, it shows a resistance of 15.6 with no cap and 0.682 with either of the two caps fitted, and that’s the same on both sensors (the other is 16.2 with no cap) also checked there’s power from the the ECU and I’m getting 5v, however, to get the 5v reading (multimeter) I had to run a negative from the battery.
I’m thinking there’s a broken wire somewhere between the ECU and sensor connect, so questions:
1. Has anyone had something similar?
2. Does anyone have a wiring diagram?
