Hi,
I encountered the following issue with my Citroën C5 Aircross: When slowing down, the car's wheels locked up at around 20 km/h, and after that, I received error messages for cruise control malfunction and transmission fault. The fault memory stored the error codes P07E6 77 and U1209 81.
At the authorized dealer's service, the transmission park position solenoid, AGBX solenoid, and transmission oil were replaced as a result.
About a week after the repair, the same issue and error code reappeared. Now, the dealer's service department has stated that the entire transmission needs to be replaced, with a cost of approximately €12,000. They were unwilling to investigate the issue further.
At a transmission service, they suggested that the fault is not in the transmission itself but rather in the transmission control unit.
Does anyone have experience with fixing this issue?
