Hello everyone!
My 2009 Peugeot 207, after a heavier traffic than usual, had its coolant bubbling and spilling. The car used to drink coolant all the time for no good reason but I just went with it. Today though, the coolant, (while being at normal level for the longest period it ever had (at least in my hands)), started (almost) boiling. The is also some spillage around the bottle that holds the coolant. The temperature stays around 91 C, with it taking normal time to warm up.
The car has almost 190,000 kilometers with barely nothing ever happening to it (1-family owned car). Right now it also needs new oil, which I will be doing as soon as possible. I can post a video also if that helps.
Thanks everyone in advance!

Re: 207 coolant bubbling
Do not bother wasting money changing the oil and filter until you have checked if the head gasket has failed since it will need doing when you change the gasket.

Re: 207 coolant bubbling
Also worth just checking that the coolant cap isn't faulty.
If they are, the coolant will 'boil' at a lower temp and over-flow out of the coolant cap.
