Hi All.
Got a head scratch moment and looking for some ideas please?
Ive just swapped the instrument cluster over on my daughters 2009 C1. (old one's lcd was knackered). got the same model from flebay scrapper within a few miles on odo.
Swapped it over and everything works as it should except for the indicators.
The photo from ebay showed all lights working fine. obviously somthing is amiss.
How do I check to see if it is the new part that is faulty, or if there is an issue between the existing vehicles wiring and the swapped in parts wiring, like if there was a wiring change at a certain year.
Thanks in advance
Jim.

Are you sure you have not either missed a connector to go back in or maybe not pushed home fully? There are a lot of connectors on these as it incorporates the main interior fuse box. I cant imagine there is that much difference in the spec. Are all the fuses in the same spaces as the original?

Thanks wheeler.
I ended up chasing the wiring, (blue 12 pin back of clocks) to indicator stalk connector. everything checked out. Re-fitted old clocks, found that indicators still do not work (they did before swapping) little fiddling and indicators came on, then off, then on. Just joking,
looks like I have 2 problems, 1st is an intermittent connection issue on the stalk, 2nd is potentially an smd led issue, with new clocks, relays trigger when indicators works, but theres no light on the leds. voltage flickers on board to signify that at leats something is getting thru.
Next check it to see if I can get to the boards led's and swap one out. if that doesnt work, ill need to check the relays to see if thay are latching or sending the correct votage to the led's
Failing that, its just send it back and find another clock on ebay.
If anyones interested, ill post the wiring diagrams below
Cheers all:-).

Also, Fuse for Indicators are No5 inside engine bay (not the ones round the clocks).
So if hazards work the fuse is ok.
These is good site's
