I'm on my 2nd window and mirror control unit on my 2010 C5 Tourer. The first unit was replaced after the one-touch function on the driver's side stopped working, and that was in October 2022. I bought a 2nd hand one on ebay from Lithuania, and it worked fine until 2 years later, when the same thing happened (one-touch function on the driver's side stopped working).
I decided to try an aftermarket one from Aliexpress, and it arrived today. I gleefully swapped the unit out and it seemed to work fine until I realised the passenger mirror adjustment didn't work and if I locked the car with the mirrors already folded shut, they would open up when I unlocked the car instead of me manually folding them out. This won't do as my parking space in my garage is shared with the AX and I have to stop the C5 right up against the wall.
Is this something programmable on Diagbox or is the unit just a piece of excrement?

Re: Aftermarket window and mirror control unit
No, as there are different control units depending on mirror functions and options, so they are not all the same. You have probably got the wrong part. The module has to be the correct one and it's not something you can magically enable if it does not include the correct circuitry.
