c1 mk 2 disappointing

Hi all, i haven't had to post on here for years as my first c1 a mk1 1.0,was so good it never failed, so the obvious thing when a replacement was due was to get a mk2 so i bought a 2020 1.o vt flair 25,000 miles only but it it just doesn't drive anything like the mk 1 ,for instance the connection between engine and transmission is awful particularly when starting off, throttle response is wheezy sometimes not constant ,hill starts a nightmare. I just wonder if anyone has experienced the same or maybe mine has a problem its just passed its mot no warning lights or anything. I don't really was to sell it but a lot of time i don't enjoy driving it .
