I've got a C4 Picasso 2017 with electric parking brake on the rears.
How do I set them into service mode/replacement in Diagbox so I can replace the rear pads and discs without having to follow YouTube videos about dismantling the EPB motor and manually rewinding it, then setting the pad clearance before putting it back on.
I'd rather do it the proper way by using Diagbox to put the brakes in a replacement mode or something.
Also, as mine is an automatic - I've not changed an automatic's brakes before (always done manuals) - do I just leave it in 'Park', or does it need to be in gear, so the front wheels don't roll when I jack the rear up with the parking brake turned off?
VIN - VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
Thank you

Re: How to replace rear brake pad (EPB) - C4 Picasso
Can't remember exactly, but go into the handbrake ECU then repair, and then service mode or something. Should be obvious. On ours one of the pistons was not properly engaged in the pad and the piston spun so the motor didn't stop. Eventually got it to stop by re-running the service command. There was an error message and it wouldn't let me run the engage function but I just pulled the switch and the brake engaged and it has been fine since!
