Dpf or turbo

Looking for help.
I have a peugeot boxer 2023 with 4000miles .
Engine management came on with check engine warning. I plugged in my obd reader and gave me a p0234 code which is the turbo management. I put in 2 bottles of turbo cleaner but no joy.
I booked in with peugeot dealer who has put it on diagnostic machine and are coming back saying it is the dpf which is blocked and needs replacing.
Surely after only 4000 miles this wouldn't happen, and why did my reader say it was turbo, and to make matters worse, on way to garage it did a dpf regeneration clean while driving. Surely if it was the dpf it would say unable to carry out service or something, is there a light that would come on in dash to say dpf fault. Would this also affect turbo or vice versa, would turbo affect the dpf.
And finally , because it's only done 4000 miles would it not be covered under warranty.
HELP.

Before you make anything drastic, could you make a test - check what is the condition of your MAF sensor?
Any oil traces on the walls of the intake pipe and before the cold part of the turbo?
Could you clean the maf sensor with proper spray, and be sure the plug stay on place and fit well..
Then check upon : how it run and do you have yet that message..

Diagnostic trouble code descriptions should rarely be read 'literally'. e.g. in that instance (this is without me knowing the specific code set criteria for that code and just throwing an example hypothesis out there...) if the DPF is blocked, it will affect exhaust flow. That could knock on to affecting how the turbo spins and the pressure it is able to generate/how well the ECU can control it - and that would then flag a turbo control code.
As I say, don't quote any of that/disappear down that rabbit hole, I'm just explaining an example...

2023 vehicle at that mileage should still be under warranty? (3 years/60k miles)

So yep, pug dealers problem to fix.
If they want to replace the DPF filter, let them knock themselves out and go for it! If they've misdiagnosed it and it is something on the Turbo circuit, then you've gained a new DPF for free and you'll be back there (at their cost) for them to look at it again and maybe then end up with a new Turbo :)
