Thankyou Anders and Dave for that invaluable info on the above problems-it`s much appreciated [:)]
I am new to this site but have already benefitted greatly and so will continue to sign in in future.
Only one other minor worry - for now -are all the spheres supposed to be replaced simultaneously ,or do you wait for obvious degradation of suspension?

Theres no need to replace them all, you can do them individually as and when they fail.

Although it is advisable to change (or charge) spheres axle-wise as when changing shock absorbers or springs on an iron-sprung chariot.
