ZX 1.9D Estate electrical worries

2 worries I have at the moment concerning the rear heated screen and the heater blower.
I thought the heated rear screen switch was faulty as the light within the switch remained illuminated with the ignition turned on or off (I discovered this when I found the battery was flat) . I have replaced the switch but the same thing happens, so at the moment I have disconnected the switch and the connections on the back screen. I am presuming the relay has given up the ghost but I don't know where to find it, what colour it may be etc.
My next problem is that the heater blower has stopped working. I have been told that the blower should work even if the blower motor resistor is at fault but it doesn't so I am presuming the motor might be the culprit, however, before I remove it are there any in situ tests I can do to determine if it needs replacing. When I checked the resistor I did rotate the blower fan from the vent cover under the vent panel, it was not seized and rotated quite freely.
I know there is a vast wealth of knowledge on this forum so I am hopeful there may be someone who can advise me.

Assuming all fuses are OK the common link will likely be the age old problem on older Citroens of the ignition switch failure.
