Hello all!
I thought that there would be a post about this, but I can't find it on the forum:
Has anybody ever tried HA2 spheres on a HA1 XM?
I know, different pressure and dampening, so road safety issues etc, but has anybody actually ever tried it?
Reason for asking is that my '92 XM has OK comfort up to 100 km/h, but after that it gets really bumpy.
I made a led on the dash that shows the suspension mode, and it is in auto mode then.
Also: I found some data on C5 spheres, but is data on XM spheres available somewhere?

Re: XM: HA2 spheres on a HA1 car
The difference in spheres between HA1 and HA2 is minor, just minor tuning, mostly to give better comfort in the later cars. The difference between HA1 and HA2 is mostly in the control system. You can interchange the spheres without problem, but note that the front sphere damping varies with the weight and performance of the engine model.
You can even swap spheres between an XM and (HA2) Xantia and will not notice much difference.
