Hi guys, what's the best way of getting rid or at least trying to get rid of these white spots on the front of my Peugeot bonnet? I'm guessing they are little stone chips but they are annoying me.
Don't really want to go down the respray route as I've been quoted a hefty chunk of money and they've told me there's no guarantee the paint will fully match so there might be some discoloration from rest of the car.
Would some touch up pens work or would that just make it look worse?

Re: Bonnet repairs
Touch up pens will make it look a lot worse with there being that many white spots. Have you tried blue colour polish ? Could also try another bonnet from a scrap yard.
If you have kept up the anti corrosion warranty by having the checks at a dealer at 4 years and then every 2 years, if it is a paint defect then Peugeot might pay for a repair so worth checking at a dealer. The checks are stamped in the back of the Warranty book after the service stamps. We had the bonnets replaced by Citroen on 2 C4s when the bonnet paint started to bubble at about 4 years old.
