Mouse Glitches - Brave Browser Feb 2025

Just in case anyone thinks it's a Forum issue, there's a bug with the latest Brave Browser as of 8th Feb 2025 that can cause the mouse to disappear or odd cursor behaviour, including selection / pointer issues.

It has been widely reported and turning off Hardware / graphics acceleration may help.

Just posting this in case people think it's a Forum problem, which it's not.

Hmm, not noticed that at all. AFAIK I don't any acceleration switched on though.

Yes, some have reported cursor pointers getting frozen (like the icons that change when you grab the corner of a window to resize it for example) or in some cases the mouse cursor just disappears intermittently. I'm having this issue on occasion that has just started happening since the recent Brave Browser update.

Now fixed in version Release v1.75.178 (Feb 13, 2025).
