Citroen not locking doors

Hi guys!

I have a problem with mu Citroen DS5 2011 model.

When i try to lock the doors with remote, only right side doors close and folding mirror folds. On drivers side ( left side) both doors wont lock and folding mirror dosent fold. When i go inside the car and press lock Button everything closes and you cant Open eny door from outside, so no issu there. But the folding mirror dosent fold when i press folding mirror button inside the car. Tried both my keys and nothing changes, removed battery from car and but new one in and also nothing changes. Need help really bad. Thank you!

Most likely you have a wiring issue in between the vehicle door aperture between the A pillar and the driver's door. The wires here are under stress from opening and closing the doors, so can cause breaks int he wiring that causes intermittent problems. You should remove the protective sleeve and check the wiring for breaks here.

Thank you, i will take a look. But can that affect both front and back door at the same time, because both doors are having the same issue?

Yes, because all the doors and both mirrors are controlled via the Driver's door control pad and pass from the front to the rear from the same harness.

Today i removed the protective sleeve between A pillar and the door and found some Wires broken, i fixed them. Everything ise working again. THANK YOU very much (givemeabreak) For helping me
