1.6 deisel citroen picasso timing sensor fault

So thought I had a problem with dpf as car went in limp mode stupidly put dpf cleaner in now car smokes bad ...bur took dpf off cleaned it put back on now showing valve timing sensor fault I need 2 know we're it is I've been told its under timing cover but only by 1 person what's the easy way 2 solve this issue thanks

What codes have you actually got / what have you read them with? Cam sensor faults are unusual - it's only used at start up to check cam / crank synch, so if it's not working, then usually get no start.

P1351 variable valve timing sensor range/preformance car starts drives fine in limp mode cars been sat 5 months started everyday wile I do ma test I had other codes with sensors there fixed just 1 code witch I'd assume is bits in limp mode

P1351 is usually a glow plug fault code and should not prevent the car running and may not even put the engine management light on or put it in limp mode.

Yes, P1351 is glowplugs and almost always present, and doesn't cause issues. You may need a better scanner to get live data and see what is going on.
