Hi!
Just picked up a 2015 Berlingo with the (dreaded) EGS gearbox. Only has some 80 000km on the clock and had had some large service items done. Belt was changed 3.5 years ago at a 50 000km interval.
It's lived life as a postal van, but seems to have been taken well care of mechanically.
Anyway, i'm not here to brag on about my latest purchase. The car is french after all, so some issues are to be expected..
I've discovered a sound that i really struggle to diagnose. It's only audible when going from a stop and into first or reverse.
I've ruled out the clutch as i'm not experiencing any slipping and i also don't think it's the flywheel as that tends to have a much more "mechanical" sound. Eager to hear your thoughts on this, i'm at a loss.
Here is a link to a 5 second video where i'm driving up a steel hill. The sound is clearly audible.

I wonder if it could be the freewheel/clutch on the alternator pulley.
