Hello! I'm having some trouble raising boost pressure on my -95 605. I've had the engine out completely and checked most everything such as timing and exhaust seals. The turbo turbine housing was cracked in three pieces so I replaced the whole turbo in the hopes that this would give me more pressure. Unfortunately this didn't yield me much results other than general driveability and lower noise, but the turbo smokes very much on startup most likely due to me clocking it a little crooked.
The main issue is that I'm building only about 0,4bar of pressure with the wastegate wired shut completely. I've done several boost pressure tests with a plug I made to the intake side, this isn't very accurate since a lot of the pressure goes into the crank case. There are no apparent leaks in the system, or I should say the ones I've found have had no effect on peak boost.
Does anyone have experience with this motor and the issues I'm having? I've even removed the blow off valve since some XM models didn't have one and I like the noises.

Re: 605 2.0 (XU10J2TE RGX) Low boost, even without wastegate
To be clear, my goal is making around 0,8bar. Is the turbo just that tiny, that It can't make more pressure in the long snaking boost tubes? Right now I see just shy of 0,4bar at the very peak at around 4000rpm. I get that these engines are very relaxed but what's even the point of adding a boost control solenoid if ripping it out doesn't change anything. There is something fishy going on.
