In my exciting new life owning a 307cc I find I am spending more time on the internet searching for parts than actually driving it. I guess that's what I get for buying a 2006 model. I have recently replaced the rubber weather seals around both doors as the previous owner(s) had managed to shred them somehow. A bit costly in my view and I had to source them from Germany and Poland. Nothing available in France (ha ha ha) or UK. Service items are no more expensive than usual but the sometimes "unique" body parts of the Cabrio are like hen's teeth to find. I have stumbled across a couple of websites with diagrams that help to find actual part numbers but finding the parts themselves is still very difficult.
If anyone has discovered a good source of genuine (new) parts for a 307cc please post it here. Plenty of breakers online but I would only buy secondhand as a last option.
If this is not allowed then a PM would be OK. Thanks in advance.

Re: Genuine spare parts
You should be aware that most parts with the exception of wing mirrors and engine sensors / basic engine maintenance items like suspension components etc., are likely to be bespoke parts, so unlikely to be available via aftermarket suppliers as it's just not viable to clone and manufacture pattern parts for every body part for every model.
If you require official part numbers, your membership allows for requesting specific parts on the Citroen, DS Automobiles and Peugeot Official Part Number Requests thread. You can at least use these to search for replacements if unwilling to pay dealer prices.

Re: Genuine spare parts
I understand what you say. But so far, I have been able to find bespoke parts from non-dealership sources, still in Peugeot packaging. I haven't bought parts from a dealership for almost 50 years and now living on a fixed pension income I can't even consider it. I have found several outfits that have listed some of the parts I seek but they say "out of stock" or "no longer available" so it gets difficult. How long do Peugeot agencies claim to keep parts for older models? I'm guessing these model variants that sold in lower numbers won't be well served in that respect. The one I recently purchased doesn't seem to be a rot box and I was hoping to keep it going until I can no longer drive.

Re: Genuine spare parts
Main dealers when models went out of fashion unloaded the parts stock to sub dealers we have one local here who took all the out of date stock from our nearest main dealer, the main was Motor House Coleford, the enthusiastic sub dealer Wyvern Garage, http://www.wyverngarage.co.uk/ they've been the place to go to for at least the last forty years for those who wanted something less costly than main dealer prices.
I'd guess that there are many such companies around still holding stock for the older cars.

This is the kind of information I was looking for. Many thanks. It gives me hope and there may be others that do the same thing.

Re: Genuine spare parts
I contacted Wyvern with the part number I needed and a couple of days later I received an email. None in stock, but their friendly response did encourage me to try them again when I need something.
