Hi Everyone. Just joined and this is my first post. Hoping to help whenever I can, and get help if anyone is happy to.
Question is this: Just purchased a Picasso (5 Seat) 1.6 e-HDi semi auto Airdream with 106K and history. Nice car and happy with it so far. Except... There's no navigation. Is there anyone who can give me some advice regarding the adding navigation? What extra parts I would need to order and fit. I do have Lexia and also a Launch X-431 pro, so any programming after retrofit should be reasonably easy. I just need to know what the difference is between the nav and non-nav models. I have a feeling it won't be easy but I need expert advice.
Can this be done, and how easy/difficult?
Thanks in advance

Re: Picasso MK2 navigation?
Not something I have the time to go into here, suffice it to say especially on a MK II Picasso, that you will require a different telematic unit, instrument display / aerials and possibly other equipment on top of ECU configuration that you won't be able to do yourself and very unlikely a dealer will do it - as any equipment that wasn't fitted at factory will not be something they are likely to do for potential vehicle issues down the line.
Further if this vehicle was fitted with a Connected NAC unit as an upgrade over the assumed RCC system, then the system likely won't be able to be updated as services and firmware are VIN specific to the vehicle, which won't have had this system fitted.
To be perfectly honest, if you have CarPlay enabled, just use something like the Sygic navigation App that is far superior to the factory sat nave, updated more often and has better features.

Re: Picasso MK2 navigation?
Thank you very much for your advice which I will follow... I'm unsure which system is fitted to my Picasso. It's a 64 plate Airdream, but I suppose it could still be fitted with any system. I'm not entirely clear on these systems. I do have the report from when I purchased the car, does the following help? I would really like to incorporate navigation by any means, and as it happens I have a sygic account so I'm hoping I can acheive this. Once again, any advice would be much appreciated...
