Hi everyone
I've been the proud owner of a C4 hatchback since 2017 bought new from main dealership. We have never had a problem with it until last week when the TPMS
started to play up and the RED TYRE symbol remained fixed in dash.
It started to show that several tyres had low pressures and needed inflating. On checking, all pressures were correct.
However, the screen that enables inputting that, and resetting the system has disappeared, so I can't get the RED TYRE symbol to disappear!
All I get is a picture of a car that fills the screen then after a few seconds, it disappears.
I've gone into every screen and the screen I need just isn't there any more. I did try factory reset, but all that did was wipe my pre-set Radio Stations.
The car has only done 14,000 miles in under 8 years and always serviced, Taxed and insured each year and well looked after.
I suppose I could run the car without the missing screen and just check tyre pressers monthly, but the screen is required to pass the MOT in October and having the RED TYRE warning will mean it will fail MOT.
Does anyone have any ideas that a 73-year-old, non-mechanic like myself could try, please.

Re: TPMS Re-set Sceren missing.
Welcome along.
Without a diagnostic computer it will be difficult to figure out what the issue is. I'm assuming there are no other warning lights (ABS, ESP etc)? It could be worth taking the battery off (BSI Reset) this can sometimes rectify spurious electrical maladies. There are many 'procedures' for this, but essentially you just need to make sure the car has gone to sleep before you take the battery off and then give it a couple of minutes to boot / wake up afterwards before you try and start it.

Re: TPMS Re-set Sceren missing.
For a C4 of 2017, you will not have any screen to reset the system because you won't have the 'indirect' TPMS. This means you will have physical sensors on each wheel and a separate ECU that receives the signals from the sensors to monitor the tyre pressures. Only later vehicles have the 'Indirect' system that does away with physical sensors in the wheels, instead, the ESP system monitors the tyre circumferences of the wheels to detect under inflation or a puncture.
So in your case, one or more of the actual sensors may need a replacement battery or replacing - but equally there may be another issue. So if following the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure makes no difference, then you need to get it to Citroen to diagnose.

Ah, I was assuming '17 C4 would be the same as the Mk2 C4 Picasso, but perhaps it runs from an earlier architecture with wheel sensors.

Yes, just checked the last produced vehicle manual Richard and only the direct system is covered.

Re: TPMS Re-set Sceren missing.
Thanks everyone, I’ll take it to KwikFit and get sensors checked first, then if needed I’ll do the BSI reset if necessary.
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.
