1.6 THP 162HP EAT6 auto 38000 miles only and full service history.
It shows engine malfunction with codes coming up P1336, P1337, P1338 combustion misfiring cylinder 1 and cylinder 2??
When on the dashboard appears control Engine fault and car starts slowing down to near zero and it juggers with throttle down and no turbo. Once codes are removed, then it drives for a few miles ok and then back to trouble. Ground cables looked ok as the garage told me but it gets nearly constantly overcharging 15.1V
Any suggestions please?
I remember when the engine was cold it was shaking a bit with the whole car so the garage thought it would be an electric problem with ECU for the voltage overcharging and mechanical with chain something for the cold engine shake.
But so far reading one suggestion here about the HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PUMP to blame... could that be it??? Causing all those problems? How easy to check and confirm that then? I also remember totally for the first time the Engine management light appeared with the power loss when I put the fuel tank to full with one extra click and drove 200 yards from petrol station but it could be a coincidence??
Or any other suggestions please?
