A 2016 model requires the Diagbox 9.xxx.
The decision whether to install a VM installation or a native version depends on the laptop you have available.
The problem with a 9.xxx installation lies in the variety of versions offered. They all claim that their version has all the elements of the original software. But this is not true - most of them steal a software version from somewhere and copy some new features and then claim to be up-to-date.

The higher the software, the more up-to-date it is and newer vehicles/ECUs are recognised.
As a VM version, 9.68, which was stolen from the native installation 9.68 by MrRorry (50€ activation costs), was very stable - but only lasts until 2021.
Currently, the native version 9.216 (activation 15€) is probably a reasonable installation.
But there are many free native and VM versions. If necessary, you have to try and reinstall.
The only important thing is a good VCI - the rest can always be solved.

Thank you very much for this advice really appreciate it, I’m new to French stuff at the minute only bought my van 2016 Berlingo enterprise and I’m thinking I have an intermittent Eolys fluid/ pat fluid fault coming up every couple of drives, I don’t think it was done before and it’s on 92k miles. I have a hp laptop with some new ish windows on it it’s only 2 years old I would be looking into resetting my pat fluid interval, obviously with changing it, price of this stuff here is 51 euro a litre on an Irish parts retailer. Thank you again for the info regarding purchase of the Diagbox 9. If you have any more info on this let me know thank you again
