DTC P0192 Fuel pressure sensor 1 circuit low
Was the original DTC which replacing with Bosch 0281002919 which is the same part number as the old. OEM part number is 1920.LJ
On plugging the new sensor in, I got a new a DTC code. The packaging appear genuine Bosch, was unopened, and I have another new sensor coming.
The new DTC, DTC P2685 Supply to 5v sensors no 3
What possibly does P2685 actually mean on DW12ME5 ?
While waiting for diagnostics to load up, with the ignition turned to on, I did observe the RPM gauge randomly jump (I've never observed this before) and wondering if this might be related to a camshaft or crankshaft issue, even though no DTC for them. I have replacement sensors coming for both of these. Should I be looking somewhere else, in the meantime ?
Timing was all replaced about a year ago, and there is no issue around this, either mechanically or physically. Connectors to the ECU are pristine. Testing on the fuel pressure wiring back to the ECU showed, no problems.
I can unplug the Fuel Pressure sensor and clear the DTC P2685, but it comes back, when I plug either the old sensor in or the new one.
I can't see much information published about DTC P2685, am I on the right track for this engine, and would be interested in any feedback about this.
