replace gear selector +cables MK1 C5

Hiya,

I have lost my whole sedre manual due to a windows update

so... I wonder if anyone could please post the method for gear selector removal/replacement?

one garage said it takes 5hours(?) so I might be on my own on this one

well... off to a great start..

the new part doesn't fit.. it's at the garage with it's exhaust hanging off and the part seems quite rare..

I'm sure it's the only year Citroen put the RHY in the c5 and Citroen can't tell me which gearbox I have other than BVM5 so I'm in need of some parts help

they gave me some numbers:
9800977680
2437F1
and
2400X0

I have 2 cables, 5 gears and reverse is back and right

Any help on identifying/acquiring the correct gear selector unit or something that will fit would be great, thanks..

This any help ?........... the best thing to do is to post you Vin number(it will automaticity hide, only forum staff can see it) & ORGA number which will allow better searching/info to be found.....
