Particle filter additive Tank exchange/filled....how to reset ECU?

Unread post by AremaLE »

Hello and first of all a healthy new year to everyone here in the forum :)

I have already invested a lot of time in the topic of additive tank and ECU reset and tried various DiagBox versions, unfortunately without success.

What is the correct way to reset the level of the additive tank to 100% in the engine ECU of a Citroen Jumpy K0 (2018)?
What steps are really necessary to inform all control units that the tank has been refilled or possibly replaced.
Tank part number ist 9817154080.

Do I have to set a counter to 0 in the Engine ECU? Or is it enough to tell the engine ECU that I have filled up the additive tank?

I have already carried out this procedure several times and DiagBox also tells me that it was completed successfully, but that is not true and a short time later an error message appears in the system saying that the additive tank is empty.

My vehicle has a seperate ECU for the additive, but I can only read it and can't change anything in the additive tank ECU.
There are no options to reset anything in this ECU.

Do I need online access for this or does this function have to be coded online?

I hope someone can help me or give me a good tip. I don't want have to keep driving to Citroen again and again for this.

If I can solve it with your help, I would share my results here and post the instructions for everyone here.

best regards,
Andre
