just recently replaced Thermostat housing Manufacturer Part Number
9804160380, 98 041 603 80.
unfortunately it is leaking from one of the hoses that connects to the thermostat housing see picture. it looks like the hose had a o-ring rubber that had been damaged or not sure if someone tried to add the o-ring to fix the problem or if it should be there.
i have spoken with Citroen and they have told me you need to fit a whole new hose for £42 from them not too bad of a price. but when i asked if they could fit it thats when the price jumped massively. As they said they need to do a full diagnostics on the problem at £200 and then parts and 2hr fitting on top of that.
They will not just fit the part that i know is the problem.
can anyone share any information on this as i dont know the part number or the name of the part its hard to find out more information on why its leaking it is leaking where it seals to the thermostat housing.
i did mange to get a diagram from them and i know it hose number 11 see picture.
any information would really help.
