HISTORIC OIL TYPE FOR BERLINGO?

Unread post by tomkat+ »

Hi - first post. Does anyone know when Citroen changed their recommended oil for my Berlingo VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] from OW20 to 05W30 pls?
I'm trying to get help from Citroen with an oil consumption issue (that is helpfully referenced on here https://www.my-car.fr/moteur-puretech-u ... e_vignette) they say repairs might be covered by 'special coverage' if can I prove I've met the service schedule to the letter.
Full service from dealer in March 23 specified OW20, they now say O5W30. Local Wilmoths say they can't confirm when it changed because they're 'not told' which makes satistying the warranty team 'tricky'.
I've had my regular services done at my local garage so I'm not sure I'll be able to tick all the warranty boxes anyway but I'm going to try.
Any help/advice much appreciated and sorry if this is covered elsewhere, I have had a good look.
Best Tom

Your official PSA recommended oil as of the date of my reply is:

EM:05W30 FPW9.55535/03

My guide does state at the top that I won't be updating it further, because of the constant number of changes they are making to it.
