Electric hand brake pads replacement

Unread post by 508c5 »

Hello,

Can anyone confirm whether the function in the pic is the correct one to apply for the enablement of the rear brake pads replacement (electric hand brakes)

It's a Picasso C4, 2018, petrol (but this doesn't really matter I guess)

It's a Launch scanner

Thank you

Yes, that looks like the right function. You should hear the calipers re-wind for a few seconds. When I did ours one of them didn't stop however - turned out the pin on the pad was not engaged in the piston and the piston just span when it got to the end. Eventually I re-started the procedure and it stopped. When reassembled it wouldn't let me reset it via the scanner, but I just pressed the button to apply the brake and it has worked fine since!

Well, eventually, mine acted up the same. Not sure what I did, but I guess that if you press enough buttons, it comes around... everything works ok now
