Hi.
I have an oil leak where the driveshaft meets the gearbox.
I am reluctant to move the car as I don't know how much oil I have lost.
Can anyone advise me on what seal I need to buy and also how much oil I need for this gearbox please?
I was going to drain the gearbox and fill.it again as I have no idea how much oil has been lost.
I believe it is supposed to be a sealed for life gearbox so has no dipstick but the fact it has leaked I need to do something about it.
There appears to be a cap on the top of the gearbox.
I can supply the VIN number if needed?
Thank you
Drew

You need to provide your vin to identify your vehicle.

I went to a transmission garage today and they can't do it due it being a semi auto.
I might have to just give it a go myself and hope it is only the drive shaft seal.
If anyone can tell me how much oil I will need then that would be great.

You could ask a Citroen dealer for a price to do the fix.
