Hiball. My 2010 dispatch 2.0 hdi van is a pain. It goes into limp mode with the high fuel pressure code. It went to the garage back in december, and they diagnosed it as a faulty injector. Since it came back, it stutters while driving and has twice broken down. Just after they fixes it it blew a seal on injector 1 and Yesterday, the eml came on with high pressure, and it blew the union on injector 2.
Changed the maf and fuel filter. Next step is the fuel pressure regulator. These have been discontinued by Citroen in the UK so I'm having to get one off auto doc. It gives me 2 totally differant options when I put my reg in. I can see the screw in one on the bottom of the fuel pump. Will I have the other one as well or will it just be the 1.
I've attached photos of the 2 options from autodoc.
Thanks all
High fuel pressure

Re: High fuel pressure
Have a look at the one on your pump and make a note of the part numbers on it - you might need a mirror and torch and possibly take a picture of it so you can read the numbers when zoomed in. Then do a search - on our C5 it is a Bosch one and I was able to get a replacement from PF Jones although I had to get a reconditioned one, still to fit it though since access is difficult. If you can get one from PF Jones it will probably be quicker than one from Autodoc in Germany.

On our C5 there is a metal gasket between the valve and pump, you will need a part number for this if your van has one and if the old one can not be reused.

Re: High fuel pressure
I doubt your fuel pump has 2 pressure controllers, I do not know what you searched on but possibly they are for different model pumps. If you want to try PF Jones you could phone them and ask. Looking at the ones on the PF Jones site there are 2 different ones depending on the engine code for the 2.0 hdi. The engine code is in the VIN so that might help.

Re: High fuel pressure
Morning Paul. it has one at the top of the pump that attaches with 2 bolts and there is one on the bottom that screws into the pump. ive took them both off last night and both part numbers come up with common rail fuel pressure regulator. ive sourced the one on top of the pump but the only place i can source the one that screws in is auto doc. ill change the top one first.
i tried pf jones yesterday as there is a branch just down from my work, unfortunately they couldn't help.
do you have any knowledge on injector timings as yesterday a friend plugged it in and the injector timings were all over the place.2
thanks

Re: High fuel pressure
Hi took the fuel pressure sensor out tonight to get the correct part number. Put it back in but now the van won't start. It turns over but won't fire up. Should I have primed it before starting. No diesel came out when I took the sensor out so figured it wouldn't need priming. It started 1st time before I took the sensor out and back In.
