Citroen Grand Picasso Blower loud rumbling noise when demisting or on full

Hey first time posting in here so bear with me!!

I have a loud rumbly blower anytime the demist function for the windscreen is used or the blowers are put up to full speed.
There really isn’t much pressure from the air at full either.
This all stemmed off the back of the classic clogged drain boot that caused a bit of a flood in the drivers footwell. I left the blower half expecting it to actually stop working, it’s still going but the noise is beginning to grate on me….
Just wondering from experience is this sounding like the blower motor itself or the resistor or the bearings? And what’s the most cost effective approach (baby number 4 due imminently and I am poor) haha.

Does sound like the motor but have you checked the pollen filter, could be soaked and limiting the airflow, also there may be leaves or other debris on the fan blades.
