Hey all, new to forum, just bought a dispatch for my work but the multifunction screen doesn’t come on.
It’s a 2017 van, the buttons around the screen seem to illuminate, I’ve checked every fuse and all ok.
I got a replacement display and still the same, buttons light up.
Would anyone be able to shed some advice on where I go from here or if the system can be rebooted/ re started somehow.
Greatly appreciated
Mark

It needs a diagnostic as just because the screen doesn't illuminate it doesn't mean it is the actual screen. It may be the underlying telematics unit that is not sending the signal (internal issue) or the actual connection between the 2.

Thank you very much for reply , the telematics unit, is that the unit that sits behind the screen yes?
Is it only Citroen themselves that can fix that ?
Thanks

Best to provide your VIN so I can determine the exact system you have before I answer that. Please post your VIN in full without spaces - it will be automatically masked from public view after submitting your post & will only be visible to staff.

Apologise for late reply, I fell very ill.
The VIN of van is - VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
I plugged a snap on computer into van and cleared some fault codes. One was problem with communication between screen. There are no faults present now but screen still won’t display anything.
Thanks for your help

Ok. so just to advise that you don't have a full telematics system, you have an RCC (Connected Colour Radio) system.
I would of suggested checking the firmware version - but this will be impossible in its current state with a blank screen.
It may need a replacement unit (which is the unit that sits inside the dashboard that the display is connected to. But I do suggest you have it diagnosed first, as replacing parts is not always the situation, as you know from replacing the screen. This would rule out an electrical fault.
However there is one simple check you can do - make sure the fuse has not blown. I have indicated it circled in green below. This can happen especially if poor quality cables have been used connecting equipment to the USB port - cheap Chinese cables are the worst.
