My 59 plate c4 grand picasso keeps saying the engine is hot in the morning before I've even drove it can anyone help please

My grand picasso says the engine is hot and says stop on dash even though the cars been parked up all night

I had the same on one of my C5s. Just a sensor, quick and easy (and inexpensive) replacement.
