2015 Grand C4 Picasso Exclusive - Reverse Camera Issue

Hi!

I wonder if anyone can help me with this issue. When I go into reverse, the display only shows the parking sensors grey car graphic. No reverse camera screen shows up. The sensors all work well but no camera. I have a reverse camera at the back so it’s there.

A bit of history - I bought the car second hand. The STOP/START and the reverse camera didn’t work but I got the car at a good price.

The car started to have issues starting in the cold weather and needed jump starting. So I replaced the original 10 year old battery (like for like AGM STOP/START etc) and the car starts well now.

But the STOP/START and reverse camera are still not working.

If the reverse camera screen isn’t showing, is this a system software issue? Or is the camera is faulty?

Update on this. Took the car to main dealer and they said there’s power getting to the camera, so it’s a faulty camera that’s the issue. They quoted a large sum to replace it, so I’m going to install a new (second hand) one myself. Currently looking for help in removing the lower tailgate trim/plastic panel to get at the camera from the inside.
