So the battery in my 2014 Cactus 1.6 BlueHDI needs replacing.
I want to buy the battery before I remove all the plastics and other bits covering the battery which looks like quite a job.
Therefore: does anyone know what physichal size battery I should buy? Ie. dimensions/measurements?
The capacity (Ah) for the standard battery would also be nice to know.
Thanks,
Martin

Thank you very much!
Is 760A the same as CCA? And is it really necessary with an AGM battery? Wouldn't it be able to start with a standard 70Ah battery?
I don't need the start/stop-function to work. In fact, the past year where my battery slowly has been dying, the start-stop function stopped working (yay!), and I attributed that to the battery going bad. In other words: could I be lucky that a standard (non-AGM) battey will keep the start/stop permanently off like it is now?

Hi, 760 is the same as CCA, but no you must use an AGM battery for this vehicle as it has Stop Start and is calibrated for this type of battery.
The vehicle is deigned for an AGM battery, so correct charging and operation is designed for this type of battery, so don't replace it with a standard battery.

Thanks for the info. I'll get an AGM battery then and live with the stop-start which will likely be enabled with a fresh battery...

Ok, that's my advice and also recommended by the manufacturer and most battery manufacturers that specify to replace with the same battery type as originally fitted. I know it's a pain, but you already know you can disable it at the start of each engine journey.
